Visiting Academic, Senior Researcher in the Institute of Atmospheric Environment, CMA

Biography

My interests focus on the atmospheric boundary layer, atmospheric turbulence processes, and their roles in atmospheric environments and climate processes, specifically in the contexts of dust emission, land-atmosphere exchange, air quality, and climate change. I earned my PhD from Peking University in July 2014 and assumed the position of Senior Researcher at the Institute of Atmospheric Environment, China Meteorological Administration in 2021. Currently, I am a one-year visiting scholar at The Pearl in the University of Reading. In my previous research, I concentrated on the field observation and parameterization of dust emission processes, with a particular focus on convective turbulent dust emissions. Additionally, I have conducted studies on ecosystem CO2 fluxes and air pollution in China. I aim to engage in academic exchanges and establish collaborative connections with scientists from diverse disciplinary backgrounds.
